The Child Care Apprenticeship is designed for people who wish to pursue a career working with children and gives the opportunity to specialise in a specific Child Care related area once you've found your feet.
What can I expect to do as a CYPW Apprentice?
As an Apprentice working with children you can expect to be involved in all sorts of things such as: teaching games and exercises, organising play, co-ordinating group play and projects, caring, feeding, nursing, cleaning-up… the list is endless, sometimes tiring, but very rewarding .
What might my long-term career progression be?*
Nursery Assistant
£8,000 - £10,000 pa
Nursery Nurse
£10,000 - £15,000 pa
Nursery Co-ordinator
£15,000 - £17,000 pa
Nursery Manager
£16,000 - £22,000 pa
